Students may dress for the warm weather but they must continue to come to school dressed appropriately.

Students MAY wear:
Bermuda short, jeans, slacks, skirts, or dresses
Closed toe shoes or sneakers
**Skirts, shorts, and dresses should be no higher than 2 inches above the knee

Gym days:
Rubber soled-shoes, sneakers
Sweat pants or shorts, t-shirts

Students MAY NOT wear:
Inappropriate language, graphics, or symbols on shirts
Ripped or torn clothing
Low-rise jeans (exposing undergarments)
Short shorts
Tank tops or spaghetti Straps
Strapless, off the shoulder tops or tube top shirts
Exposed midriffs
Sandals and open toed shoes are not allowed for safety reasons

If your child’s outfit is not aligned with the above dress code, parents will be contacted and may need to bring a change of clothes.

Last night, the Participatory Budgeting winners were announced by Councilman Van Bramer. There was a record 7100 votes with $2.5 million allocated and all of these projects will improve quality of life in our neighborhoods!

The top winning project went to:
– $500,000 for Tech Upgrades at PS112, PS150, PS12, PS166, IS125 with 4785 votes
Thank you to our PTA and our parent volunteers, especially Diana Dumitru our PTA co-President, for spearheading this effort to bring $100,000 for technology upgrades to our school and a special thanks to the parents, community, and the students who voted for us.
