Pupil Transportation
In the event that there is an emergency and we have to evacuate the building, our school has designated locations where we will take our students.  For information about our students' whereabouts and reunification procedures, please call 311.
There is now a “no head lice” policy for all NYC public schools, but no longer a “no nit” policy. Students found to have live head lice will be excluded from school and not allowed to return until they are lice-free. Students will be reexamined in 14 days to confirm that they have remained lice-free.  Students with nits and no evidence of live head lice will not be excluded from school.

Emergency Preparedness
We utilize a positve -commendation system to reward students behaviors.  There is a respect matrix that contains the expected behaviors. Students receive commendation cards which they can exchange for rewards. Oue goal is always to help our students reflect and learn from their actions, so they can become productive and respectful citizens.  We follow the DOE disclipline code which you can access by clicking link below.
Headlice Procedures
Whenever there is a bug found, we place it in a bug and send the specimen to pest control.  A letter is sent home to parents in the class with bedbug identification procedures. The room is cleaned.
